What we test

Checks across categories that determine how healthy your website really is.

SEO/GEO

Titles, metadata, sitemap, canonical tags and signals that LLMs use to find and cite your site.

Security

HTTPS, security headers, outdated libraries, and known vulnerabilities.

Performance

Load time, caching, compression, and Core Web Vitals indicators.

Accessibility

Alt text, contrast, ARIA markup, and keyboard navigation.

Why should you test your website?

A website that looks good isn't necessarily one that works well. Search engines, security scanners, and browsers have requirements that aren't always visible to the naked eye, but they affect how many people find you and whether they stay.

Sitesupport's free website test runs automated checks and gives you a concrete report: what works, what needs fixing, and why it matters.

Google visibility

Proper metadata, sitemap, and load times affect how Google ranks your site. Technical issues cost you organic traffic.

Protection against attacks

Missing security headers, HTTP instead of HTTPS, and outdated plugins make your site vulnerable. We find the gaps before attackers do.

Better user experience

Fast loading, working alt text, and accessible navigation keep more visitors, and ensure everyone can use your site.

How we analyze your website

Our test runs over 30 automated checks and gives you a concrete score in each category. Here's what we measure, and why it matters.

SEO, are you visible on Google?

Search engine optimization determines how easily Google and other search engines can find, understand, and rank your website. We check that you have correct titles and meta descriptions, that your sitemap works, that canonical tags are set, and that your site doesn't have broken links or duplicate content.

A site with good technical SEO has a higher chance of ranking for relevant keywords, without paying for ads.

Security, is your site protected?

We check HTTPS configuration, security headers (Content-Security-Policy, X-Frame-Options, HSTS, etc.), whether your CMS version is exposed, and whether known vulnerabilities exist in your plugins.

Poor security can lead to breaches, data leaks, and Google flagging your site as unsafe.

Performance, how fast is your site?

Load time affects both user experience and search engine ranking. We measure response time, check that compression (gzip/brotli) is enabled, that images are optimized, and that caching is properly configured.

Google uses Core Web Vitals as a ranking factor, a slow site appears lower in search results.

Accessibility, can everyone use your site?

We check image alt text, color contrast, ARIA markup, and keyboard navigation. Good accessibility means all visitors can use your site, regardless of disability. It's also a positive ranking factor in search engines.

Frequently asked questions

We run your URL through automated checks for SEO, security, performance, and accessibility. Results are shown instantly, no account or email required.
Yes, the test is completely free. You do not need to create an account or provide your email to see the report.
Core Web Vitals are Google's metrics for how fast and stable a page feels to visitors, including how long it takes for content to appear (LCP) and whether the page shifts around while loading (CLS). Poor Core Web Vitals affect your search rankings.
We recommend testing at least once per quarter, and always after major changes. If you enable free monitoring, we run the test automatically every week and only notify you if something changes.
The report shows exactly what was found and suggests how to fix it. Many common security issues, like missing HTTP headers or outdated plugins, can be fixed relatively quickly by a developer.
All data in the report comes from publicly available information, just like when you visit a website in your browser. We read things like HTML code, HTTP headers, and load times. We never log in, never test passwords, and never access anything that isn't already visible to the public.
